HATE!!!!!!!!!! Worst thing since unsliced bread

... going to your local pub expecting to spend 2ish hours knocking a few back and getting sufficiently buzzed to have a good night sleep.... only to find out via rude awakening that they have an acoustic bonjovi cover band playing. Hate! Only 1 drink down. Bored. Not ready to go to sleep.  |

I probably could have *tolerated* it enough to get 2-3 down if they were plugged in at least. Hearing some 1/2 rate guitarist try to play solos on an acoustic is just tragic. No booze here (well none I wanted at the time) because the local store is having a 15% off sale today. Been waiting to restock some stuff |

I'm going to guess there's a big, big difference between the ACTUAL Bon Jovi and 5 guys from Chicago who play covers and can't actually afford electricity in their rehearsal space.

That's an excellent point. I like real Bon Jovi. Unplugged no name cover band, not so much. If I was there, I would have suggested we leave and go find some sports bar playing a hockey contest, or even better some soccer.  |
