Excellent.  I have an 8:10 tee time Pacific Time tomorrow morning.  I'll post upon my return.

Captain Fuzzy, Lennyquai cannot play.  Please choose another.

Captain TIT, Sal and Aske played just the other day, and their scores were turned in to me for use in the first round of Matches.

Insert me into Lenny's spot in the lineup. I'll PM an update.

I see, throwing me the curve ball eh?

I will watch for if anyone can't play from the guys/gals I listed as first round players, hopefully someone will be unable to play and I don't have to chop someone.

Or they could volunteer to sit out this round.

If they were nice.

 Wink

Fuzz, looks like you are playing.

Hard decisions you have there....

Just a reminder:

Please shoot me your HOLE-BY-HOLE scores as well as the slope/rating of the course you play.  It's match play, so I have to line up the individual hole scores.

QUESTION: right now, people are free to talk about their scores because no one knows who they're (virtually) playing against.  The other way I can work it is to post the head-to-head matches ... but then it helps the second person to play if he/she reads what the opponent has scored and knows what it takes to win.  So if I announce the pairings, you'd have to keep your scores off the open boards until the round of matches was completed.  Thoughts?

I'd like to know who to trash talk.  Devil

I agree we should keep the scores off the open board until both players have played. But I'd like to see the match-ups.

You understand, I assume, that it means people can't post up their stories about playing with other Golfhos, or having a great round, or having a horrid round, and so on.  That'd go for 20 people each time.

Some people like to talk about golf here (crazy, I know, but it happens).  For the next two rounds, I don't want to block that unless it's with their approval.

I'll just say that it doesn't matter much to me, I'm playing so poorly (but having so much fun  Smiley ) that if they want to hit me with the frowny devil face and trash talk me go right ahead, maybe it will ignite something.  Tongue

I forgot to vote.  I'm in favor of suppressing the scores and enabling the smack.
