Kids are a pain
« on: July 12, 2007, 02:29:27 PM »

Ok, so last week my son said some things to me that hurt. Now he is 9 so I should have taken it with a grain of salt but my wife and I had been feeling that something was bothering him and has been for some time. This just seemed to fit.

So all he wants is attention, and with 2 brothers it is hard to get our attention. Just lashing out I guess.

Well I am better and so is he (for now). It was a molehill that I made into a mountain. With the holiday week, all kids at home, constant rain, and all of us cooped up in the house it all came to a head. My head.

We are hopeful that we can get out and play some golf tomorrow, my son, my dad and I. I think we will have fun.

Crap, that reminds me. I need to put grips on his clubs.

Enjoy them while they are young.
My 11 year old is gone for the summer. It's been only 2 weeks and I miss him already Cry

My older 2 stepkids are long gone (22/20) and don't talk to me anymore.
That's life,unfortunately.

The internet is full of interesting pictures and videos. One must do what one must do.

While I may be "back" I won't be breaking any Aske posting records anytime soon. I never really left, I just didn't read or post as much. The next three weeks should be about the same, 3 days of work next week (Sun - Tues) then off of work till Aug 5th. Headbang
