How would you rank your interest in various spectator sports?

I was thinking about all the controversies in sports in the past week (vick in the nfl, nba ref, steroids in baseball, doping in cycling).

I used to love watching the Tour de France and pro tennis as a kid, but now I couldn't care less about them.  I used to follow the NHL much more closely until the 1994 lockout coincided with my moving to the west coast.  I can see the NBA dropping off my radar in the next few years.

Doing a quick assessment of my current mindset, here's the sports that I would say I have at least some interest in these days, and their relative ranks. (spectating, not playing)

1. NFL Football
2. NCAA Football
3. MLB Baseball
4. PGA Golf
5. NHL Hockey
6. NBA Hoops

(no interest in x-games, arena football, champions tour, mls, wnba, wwe, etc)

What does your list/ranking look like?

That's a tough one depending on if we break sports down by leagues or just pro v. college.

4.  Intl. Soccer
5.  European PGA Tour
6.  Rugby Union
7.  La Liga
8.  NCAA Football

I'd put GAA at the top of the list if I could see it more than once in a blue moon.  I've caught one hurling final and one football semi-final since 2003.

Used to be huge into tennis 'til Pete Sampras killed the sport via acute lack of personality.

1. NFL Football      Definitely #1 for me.  My favorite sport, and bleed Purple.
2. NCAA Football    I never went to collidge, so NCAA FB never captured my interest.  Having said that, we got a new "Sheriff" in town, so we may just be able to compete in the Big Ten(11).  I'll most likely watch.
3. MLB Baseball I grew up playing baseball.  I do follow the Twins a fair amount, but a small market team that won't spend any money..........and a 7 inning pticher's duel..........I've got paint that won't dry if I'm not on it.
4. PGA Golf Funny.  I used to watch every tournament, every weekend.  Now, I'm lucky if I tune into the final round of a major.  I dunno.....I still like it, just busy I guess.
5. NHL Hockey   
6. NBA Hoops   I don't watch many games, but follow the team a fair amount.  It's a huge "Soap Opera" here.  The T-Wolves suck, and the future isn't bright.  I hope the ref. scandal blows the thing wide open.

7) NCAA Mens BB Tourney (until my Salukis are eliminated)

Thats about it - don't watch the NBA and gave up on the NHL after the recent strike.

Local OW short track racing. (By 'Local' I mean everything West Coast, from USAC/CRA in SoCal all the up through WILROC pavement sprinters in BC)

I pay MORE attention to this than I do NASCAR and MLB in the summer. The beauty of ThE iNtErweb is it's a virtual clearing house of information, and you can get pretty much 'Real Time' results and video from some venues pops up every few weeks.

NASCAR/IRL/Road Racing in just about that order, although haven't watched much NASCAR this year, mostly due to atrocious seasons by anybody I give a crap about.

Local 'Minor League' Hockey (actually, it's top tier Junior Hockey for you Canuckies, a distinction lost on us Yanks) I watched several TOP NHL draft picks play this last season

MLB.

Everything else.
