Werd.

I went to Target yesterday at lunch.  I was watching a guy replace all of the bags of black and orange M & Ms with bags of red and green ones.

It's OK by me.  It reminds me to start with the Christmas shopping already.  (I'm the only family member without an unemployed spouse to do the shopping, so the bar is set kind of high.)

Of course, if we could just add a few more months into the year, I'd be quite grateful to put off Christmas.  It was never really my holiday, so to speak.  I love the decorations, but the stress is just WAY too much.

Saw a house today with a dozen plastic lighted snowmen, reindeer, santas, etc. in the front yard.  Lights all along the eaves.  Nuts.

LOL.   Decorations were worth as much as his house (*).

I was just at a Target this afternoon and didn't see a single thing.  'Course, I was in the "technology" area and then over to the watches.

It saddens me that Thanksgiving seems to get passed over.  I mean, I couldn't careless if the stores decide not to try to make a profit on it as a holiday, but that it kinda gets forgotten in everything else, at least until the hype for the football games begin (and even then it's more about football and food), is saddening.  ...Because we really do have so much to be thankful for.

Uh, does anybody buy anything but an ass-load of food for Thanksgiving? What do you really need to advertise?

Those bags of red, green and silver Hershey's kisses on the shelves just add an extra 6 weeks of my kid begging for an ipod.

You know that.
