With the CLE loss and TEN win, what's the picture on that last wild-card spot? CLE is 7-5 in AFC games, TEN is 6-5 (remaining game against INDY)
CLE remaining game is SF (should be a win)
if CLE wins and INDY wins, CLE in. if TEN wins and CLE loses, TEN in. if both lose, CLE in. if both win, then tiebreaker rule #2-onward apply since they didn't play head-head game.
1. Head-to-head, if applicable.
2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four.
4. Strength of victory.
5. Strength of schedule.
6. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
7. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
8. Best net points in conference games.
9. Best net points in all games.
10. Best net touchdowns in all games.
11. Coin toss.
no idea who wins out there. too lazy to look it up.

found out no matter what cleveland does, if tennesse wins they are in Yep. Heard that on the radio on the way in today. |

interestingly, TENN - INDY, INDY plans to rest most of the starters majority of the game. TENN might be handed a ticket to the dance. If SD is the 3, and TENN could beat them, that prevents INDY_TENN from possibly meeting until the AFC title game . steelers/jags would travel to INDY in the divisionals. i'm not sure INDY wants a part of either team hahaha, had a brain fart there, ignore what i originally posted. |

From what I heard this morning, Dungy must have learned a lesson, because he plans to play Manning at least the first half. |

yup, if steelers are the 4 seed, win their game, they have to count on the 6 to beat the 3 to avoid travelling up to NE in the 2nd round. |

Another Smith down and out. That's two by injury, one by incompetence. I think a lot of the Steelers' troubles lately can be attributed to injury. Since it's getting worse, not better, they're pretty much toast. Hopefully they can crush another team's dream before they bow out.  * Looks like it won't be the Browns. More the shame. |
