Why would I adopt a 'standard', get used to it and then every other place I go struggle with the global standard? You can just make a script that remaps a QWERTY to Dvorak then run it off a flash drive when you're on other PC's. |

So I take it you wouldn't want a Das Keyboard either? If those keys were set up per QWERTY it would be no different to me from the one I use today so sure, I'd try one. I'm from the era where typing was taught in school. I learned "home row" and how to type with all 10 fingers. There are some women in Blader's secretarial pool that I would put to shame.  |

So I take it you wouldn't want a Das Keyboard either? I would love to install one of those at work for one of my guys. He types with 2 fingers. The index finger on his left hand only hits the a key. The index finger on his right hand does all the rest. He would be absolutely lost! |
