you really didn't see most of those coming ? I saw the ending of The Sixth Sense coming from about halfway through. Other than that, I can honestly say I saw none of the others coming.

you really didn't see most of those coming ? Not really. Sure, something was in the cards but I didn't guess exactly what. Just a simple bogger watching a movie.

Best: Primal Fear This one caught me so off guard, I was pissed. Memento I'm not sure if was even possible to predict this one, but this was a flat-out "that is so *fudge*ed up" ending. Worst: No Way Out I actually enjoyed this movie, but I felt the twist was unnecessary.

This thread is way to much for me.
I still get surprised when the toilet water turns blue.

Worst: Signs The Aliens are killed by water? What the *fudge* was that? I assume we are talking about Day of the Triffids. I remember, when I was young, (A long, long time ago, in a land far, far away), being able to sleep at night, after seeing this movie. The only reason I could sleep was that there was an way to kill these things and we were given the information. (It was very important to know that the monster could be killed).

Agree with a number that have mentioned. I loved Se7en because the ending was intense and you didn't actually "see" anything. I love movies that can do that without violence, etc. Terrific job. I had a hunch on "The Sixth Sense" but it was still very good. I may start taking spacey's advice on movies because when "The Village" was over my wife and I just looked at each other. Major disappointment. And I'll add one that I'll rate as good - Arlington Road with Tim Robbins and Jeff Bridges.

I need to add another one. And the impact was probably greater due to my age when first seeing it.
The Planet of the Apes. The final scene was pretty cool at the time.

I can say unequivocally that y'all are wrong.
THE movie twist of all time was The Crying Game

I did mention that albeit in the 'bad' section. That was a dude from scene one. The only twist was seeing its unit on the big screen.
