Great round of golf yesterday

Went golfing yesterday with a supplier and a customer. 80 degrees, no wind, no clouds....about as perfect as it gets. As mentioned in previous threads I've cut way back on golf this year with this being only my fifth 18 hole round in '08. So I was extremely happy to post a 43-39 82. Tee to green was good but the short game is rusty.
I think I was really focusing on my swing yesterday knowing that I hadn't played much and it paid off. Just one of those days where everything clicked pretty well. And the best part was.....our supplier paid the tab for the round, carts, beverages and dinner afterward.

Good on you Fuzzy. Did you get those special golfing benefits in your last job. Well.. my last job didn't always pay for golf but I had enough vacation time that taking a few afternoons off from time to time was no problem. Of course all my worries about getting away on a weekday afternoon to play would go away if only I could win the lottery. Or if Susan lets me marry a Sugar Mama.    |
