[SPOILERS] Another Golfhos Meetup Experience

So, being in town (Ft. Worth) for a couple of days, Sal and I could not let the chance to meet up with a couple of DFW area Ho's go by.... Thanks to Darla and Spanky for agreeing to come a good deal out of their way (past 'middle ground') to meetup with us at a spot a bit more easy to accomodate our chaotic family-travel-whatnot schedule. We had a great time and some nice drinks at the Fox N Hound -- a place that pretty much lives up to its standard whichever location you go to (well, except for the service being very mediocre LOL) Here's one more R+C (well, actually it's an R+Teq since there's no rum back here at the 'rents place) in honor of the day. It was great fun.
It'd be even better if the waitress had any traces of competence. Especially when we tried to facilitate her tipping.
Thusly I have been initiated in the magick that is Golfhos Meetups. I find the fact that it didn't involve actual golf especially befitting.
Also, the strohberry lemonade was rather delicious.

Thank you for inviting us. It was fun and yes the service sucked (except from the waitress that was a hobbit, gotta love hobbits). Sal is an absolute riot, and Aske is, well, not quite what you'd expect and almost exactly what you'd expect. Seriously it was a good time and worth the trip (especially since we got rid of the boys for the night.
We would have tipped back one more after we got home but it was a bit of a drive and bed was calling. As I said last night, hopefully we can do it again sometime, maybe in Bandon. Darla and I wish both of you and your families well and have a safe trip home.
