Nostradamus surrenders - Monday morning carnage update

Well it was a nice run. As foreshadowed here (and proving there is a karmic balance in the universe after reading 'fredo's thread): http://www.golfhos.com/topic-6972.htmlThis morning was brutal. In total, 6 of 11 in my part of the division including my boss and former boss. In addition our engineering manager and Asian product support guy are gone to bring the total to 8 that I know of and I did hear a rumor of many more across the company/globe. And yes, I was one of the 8.   But it's not like we didn't see this coming for 2 years now. It was just a matter of who won the lottery. The sad thing is that 90 years of industry experience was walked out the door this morning with just us 6 folks. I'm not exactly sure how this will make things better but I'm not as super smart as upper management.  The good thing is that I'll have more time now to finish my new spring signature lines of Clive Assless Chaps and Stroh's Super Sensual Fleshlights. *Please note that the video above in no way is be taken as anything other than I typically don't like Mondays and today was especially non-likable. |

The sad thing is that 90 years of industry experience was walked out the door this morning with just us 6 folks. Preach on Reverend Fuzz. I watched 96 years of experience walk out the door with the five guys in my department last year. Sorry to hear. All I can say is it'll get better, when one door closes another door, get drunk. |

I have a theory that in the next 10 years, all available jobs in the U.S. are going to involve either marketing or sales of some sort or will be as payday loans cashiers.
