Played yesterday. Cold and windy as hell.  Struggled quite a bit, including a 7 on a short par 3.  Angry

Couldn't judge the wind and just couldn't get anything close.  Short game was teh sukk.  McChunkin'

42 - 48 with one birdie.

Don't give up brother, I played like *feces* last time out too. But I suck so the 40 I shot was probably a fluke.

Who cares as long as it is still fun.

I think that's the key, if you are working at it and not enjoying the game then it's not worth it. I have learned to just enjoy the game. I make sucky shots and some good ones. I enjoy the good ones and just brush off the bad ones.

Shot a 47 - 49 today with 32 putts and 1 birdie. But I was hitting some very nice drives, a couple of really good sand shots and pitches. Full irons sucked Spacey's balls but what are you going to do.

I've been struggling all year long. From snap hooks to chili dip wedges, shanks, and lousy putts, my game is crappola. It is only the occasional long drive or good hybrid shot that keeps me coming back. I'm seriously considering going to 6, 7 and 8 hybrids, as these are the only clubs I can hit on a semi-regular basis.
I am still enthused, eonugh, but I don't know for how long. Sad
